Tour our Contempo Booth, dressed for the holidays!

Welcome to the third day of our Quilt Market booth tour. Today we're showing the Contempo booth, all dressed up for the holidays! Cool lime greens, light blues, and cheery reds...this booth has such a fresh holiday feel!

Half of the Contempo booth featured Amanda Murphy's new Nordic Holiday line. Wouldn't it be fun if all those wrapped boxes were full of fabric? :)

The opposite side of the booth showcased Cherry Guidry's Mulberry Lane collection. The fabric features an idyllic little town, ready for the holidays!

The Contempo booth won the 2nd place award for double booths--congratulations to Amanda, Cherry, and Joanie Holton and Melanie Greseth, who designed the booth!

Both Nordic Holiday and Mulberry Lane will be available in quilt shops in late spring, so mark your calendars to start your 2017 holiday quilting then!

Quilt Market Booth Tour: Kanvas

Welcome to day 2 of our three-day Quilt Market booth tour. Last weekend, we were in Salt Lake City sharing our newest fabric collections from Benartex, Kanvas and Contempo with quilt shop owners. Now we're ready to give you a sneak peek so you know what to watch for (and ask for!) at your local quilt shops.

Today we're taking you on a tour of the Kanvas section of our booth from Quilt Market! The Kanvas booth featured three lines: The Music in Me, Dance of the Dragonfly, and Nature's Pearl.

Here's a look at the entire Kanvas booth:

No, your eyes are not deceiving you! We had a baby grand piano in the booth! It was the perfect scene setter for The Music in Me collection. Prints include piano keys, musical notes, baby grands, and musical words and symbols, all in a classic black, beige and cream palette.

Click here to see the entire The Music in Me collection.

Next up, the Dance of the Dragonfly collection (there's a sneak peek above in the quilt displayed on the piano!). Beautiful lavenders, greens, and blues, all with a delicate gold accent. The purple colorway is shown here in the booth.

Dance of the Dragonfly mixed with Nature's Pearl in the background.

Love the detail of these 3-D dragonflies on a backdrop of Nature's Pearl collection quilts.

Lastly, here's the Nature's Pearl collection. Black, gray, and cream prints--dandelions, swirls, dots, leaves and circles--a beautifully subtle line with pearlized accents.

This quilt echoes the dandelion prints from the collection:
(And check out the monochromatic pillows on the bench below.)

Closer detail on the quilt and the dimensional dandelion puffs, which are made from antique lace.

Fantastic detail on this artsy quilt!

Quilt Market Booth Tour: Contempo

Welcome to day 1 of our three-day Quilt Market booth tour. Last weekend, we were in Salt Lake City sharing our newest fabric collections from Benartex, Kanvas and Contempo with quilt shop owners. Now we're ready to give you a sneak peek so you know what to watch for (and ask for!) at your local quilt shops.

First up, Contempo.

Here's a look at the full Contempo section. We highlighted three main lines: Kitchen Love by Cherry Guidry, Sparkle by Amanda Murphy, and Lemon Squeezy by Holly Helgeson

Cherry in her booth. Her new collection, Kitchen Love, is exactly what the name suggests: lots of love for all things kitchen-related! And of course, with Cherry, you'll see plenty of whimsical applique and embroidery work as well.

Sweet hand towels and a cupcake wall hanging:

Table toppers, wall hangings, a purse, a pillow and more:

Love the main quilt in the booth--so much detailed and beautiful applique and embroidery design!

This beautiful wall hanging uses the text print as the background:
Click here to see the fabrics in Cherry's Kitchen Love collection. Available in shops August/September.

Next up is Amanda Murphy's new collection, Feathers & Flourishes. This line features Amanda's well-loved feathers and flourishes, as well as intricate medallions! Don't forget dots, a fancy stripe, and geometric prints--great coordinates or stand alone prints.
Here's Amanda in the booth:

And a closer look at this medallion-style quilt, built out from an appliqued center motif.

Quilts, pillows, sundresses, a sunhat, a tuffet...so much fun!

Click here to see the fabrics in Amanda's Feathers & Flourishes collection. Available in shops July/August!

And last but not least, Lemon Squeezy by Holly Helgeson! This summery line is full of lime, bright pinks, and happy yellows. The prints include lemons (obviously!) and lemonade, but also an adorable pennant print, text print, and a cool chevron stripe. Think of Lemon Squeezy as an upgrade on your childhood lemonade stand ambitions.

Check back tomorrow, when we'll continue our Quilt Market booth tour.

Check out our booth: Benartex at Quilt Market!

We gave you a sneak peek at the new fabrics we were debuting at Spring Quilt Market in Pittsburgh last week, and now we're back with more--photos of the Benartex, Kanvas, and Contempo booths!
Come along on a tour--we hope it will make you feel like you were there! (And let you see more of the brand-new collections you'll find in your local quilt shops over the coming months!)

First up: the Benartex booth

Here's the left side of the booth, where you can see a sampling of quilts hung along the back (more on those later). The closest quilt on the far right (and the tote bag hanging in front of it) are both made from Ann Lauer's Poppy Panache collection.

Four quilts made from the pretty prints of Eleanor Burns' Zoey & Christine collections. It's fun to see how different fabrics can look in various designs!

Left to right: quilts made from Origins, Bali Gradations, and then more Zoey & Christine

A little something for every taste--left to right: quilts made from Breezy Blooms by Susan Rooney, Black & White Expressions, Tie Dye Balis, Caryl's Feather by Caryl Bryer Fallert-Gentry, and Origins. (To the far right, you can see Zoey & Christine again)

More of a straight-on view of the quilts made from Breezy Blooms by Susan Rooney, Black & White Expressions, Tie Dye Balis, Caryl's Feather by Caryl Bryer Fallert-Gentry, and Origins. Let's just call it what it is: Eye candy!

Close-ups! Fantastic texture from Black & White Expressions, a cool maze using Tie Dye Balis, and rich hues in fabrics from Caryl's Feather by Caryl Bryer Fallert-Gentry

Two Breezy Blooms quilts stand out from across the booth:

Another close-up, this time of a Breezy Blooms quilt--love these bright, cheery fabrics!

Breezy Blooms in a couple sample children's clothing patterns--so cute!

Look at how the piecing pops off the black background in this quilt made from Jackie Robinson's new Glorious Hummingbird collection!

Two more Glorious Hummingbird quilts from Jackie, this time without the black background.

On the left is On the Green--you guessed it--golf themed! In the middle, the soothing, soft neutrals from Burlap and Lace. On the right, the rich and sophisticated colorway also from Burlap and Lace.

Another look at Burlap and Lace on the left, and the all-natural Sunflower Journal on the right.

On the left, explosions of color made from a combination of Still Blooming and Bali Gradations, and on the right, the panel print from Orchid Shadows surrounded by piecing using Tie Dye Balis.

A second Sunflower Journal quilt in warm golds, plus another look at the Still Blooming/Gradation Balis quilt--such a pop of color!

Backing up a bit, here's a view of part of the right side of the booth. Off to the left are quilts and projects made from Nancy Halvorsen's More This 'n That collection.

A little more More This 'n That--the perfect coordinate line for everything!

And finally, a full view of the right side of the booth:

We'll be updating our website with these fabric collections as they become available in shops, as well as previewing many of them here on the blog, so watch for your favorites to appear!
And, please don't forget to stop back tomorrow for a tour of the Kanvas booth!
