We're celebrating National Quilting Month with a Sampler Quilt created using blocks by many of our fabric designers. Throughout the month, we'll share a block made by each of the designers listed below and featuring their newest fabric line, along with directions to sew that block. Come sew with us!
Block #4
Today we’re featuring Christa Watson’s Sunshine Star Block
in her Abstract Garden collection.
Cutting
3504-01 Light Pink
Tracks
Cut (4) 4” squares
Cut (8) 2” squares
3503-10 Red Seeds
Cut (4) 4” squares
3500-38 Orange
Trellis
Cut (8) 2” squares
3502-33 Mustard
Picket Fences
Cut (1) 6-1/2” square
Make the Block
1. Sew (2) 2”
Light Pink Tracks squares and (2) 2” Orange Trellis squares together to create a
4-patch unit, measuring 3-1/2” square unfinished. Make a total of (4) 4-patch
units.
2. Layer (1) 4” Light
Pink Tracks square right sides together with one 4” red square. Draw a line
down the diagonal center on the back side and sew 1/4” away on either side of
the line. Cut on the line to reveal (2) half-square triangle units. Trim each
half-square triangle unit to measure 3-1/2” square. Make a total of (8) HST
units.
3. Join (2) HST
units to make a star point unit. Make a total of (4) star point units.
4. Using the 6-1/2" Mustard Picket Fences in the center, lay out the
units into 3 rows of 3 units each and sew each row. Join the rows to complete
the block.

DeleteAm so happy to testify about a great spell caster that helped me when all hope was lost for me to unite with my ex-girlfriend that I love so much. I had a girlfriend that love me so much but something terrible happen to our relationship one afternoon when her friend that was always trying to get to me was trying to force me to make love to her just because she was been jealous of her friend that i was dating and on the scene my girlfriend just walk in and she thought we had something special doing together, i tried to explain things to her that her friend always do this whenever she is not with me and i always refuse her but i never told her because i did not want the both of them to be enemies to each other but she never believed me. She broke up with me and I tried times without numbers to make her believe me but she never believed me until one day i heard about the DR. EMU and I emailed him and he replied to me so kindly and helped me get back my lovely relationship that was already gone for two months.
