As 2015 draws to a close, we thought it would be fun to ask you to take a walk down memory lane...
We've featured a lot of new fabric lines this year from Benartex, Kanvas, and Contempo. Which one was your favorite, and why? Leave a comment below letting us know!
I finished a large lap quilt with 30's fabrics and blocks and several other hand embroidery blocks. I hand pieced the blocks and top and hand quilted the lap quilt with baptist fan by hand, trying out different threads to see what I liked best. Lots of fun and makes me happy when I look at it and it's special to cuddle under - I'm not giving it away, it's mine.
Sorry, could not pick just one - and don't have time to look all of them over again. But I do want to thank you for your blog, which keeps me aware of whats new.
While you showed us a lot of pretty ones--I'm talking to you, Carina--I think my favorite came at the very end: Chickadees and Berries. Thanks for a great year. Looking forward to 2016.
Although there were many lovely fabrics introduced in 2015 my two favorites were "Let's Party" and "Sew Easy" for total color explosion and exuberance. I'm looking forward to seeing what those fabrics want to become in 2016.
I rally like Santa's Here collection because of the different shades of red and green as well as the prints. They make great blenders and they have a certain elegance. Thanks for all of the great fabric collections and fun hops you have throughout the year.

ReplyDeleteChickadees and Berries is my favorite but Flight of Fancy is a close second. Love that black and white combo!
