Dreamscape Block Blog Hop: Day 1

Hello, fabric lovers! We're excited to kick off our Dreamscape Block Blog Hop today. We have seven different block tutorials for you featuring our luscious Dreamscape prints; we'll be featuring a tutorial each day through next Wednesday (we're taking the weekend off!). For this blog hop, we selected a six-color palette to play with: Navy, Cloud, Lime, Grape, Daffodil and Lead. You'll love the variety of blocks our designers have created! And make sure you enter each day's giveaway for a chance to win fat quarters of these six Dreamscape prints! Enjoy!

Chris from madebyChrissieD is sharing her block design today, the Trapped Square Block. She used Cloud, Grape and Lead for maximum graphic impact. Check out her tutorial here and then head over to her blog to find out how you can win a fat quarter bundle of the six Dreamscape prints featured in the hop.

Hi everyone, it's great to be here on the Benartex Sew in Love {with Fabric} blog again and introducing Day 1 of the Benartex Dreamscape Block Blog Hop.

In case this is the first time you've met me, I'm Chris Dodsley of made by ChrissieD, a sewing teacher in Manhattan and VP of the NYC Metro MOD Quilt Guild, blogging about my textile crafts and travel adventures.  I love to share my tips, tutorials and projects on my made by ChrissieD blog, twice monthly newsletter and various social media sites including FacebookInstagramPinterest and Twitter .

Let's take a look at today's fabric collection - Dreamscape.  Benartex describes the Dreamscape collection of 23 fabrics as lush, brilliant color, texture, and pattern just like our dreams and they're not wrong, they really do appear to glow!  All fabrics in the collection are 100% cotton.

I've chosen three gorgeous Dreamscape colours: Cloud, Lead, and Grape from this fat quarter bundle Benartex sent me to bring you the
