The Olympics are coming!
We're doing our part to get in the spirit...starting February 9th, we'll be holding a Sewing Olympics here on the blog. Just what is the Sewing Olympics? A series of sewing "events" that will result in a 33" square quilt. If you participate using Benartex, Kanvas or Contempo fabrics in your quilt, you'll have a chance to win gold, silver, and bronze medals (also known as fabric prizes!)
We're using the Winter Games collection by Amanda Murphy--perfect for an Olympic-themed quilt! Below are the two versions of the quilt we'll be making in the Sewing Olympics. You'll also find a list of fabric requirements so you can make sure you have the fabric you'll need to participate. Winter Games SKUs are listed; you're not required to use Winter Games, but to be eligible to win a prize, you must use Benartex, Kanvas, or Contempo fabrics, so search your stash or visit your local quilt shop!
